Choose a branch of engineering you are interested in learning more about! Explore the links below to help you choose:
- Branches of Engineering
- Aerospace Engineering
- Biomedical Engineering
- Biomimetic Engineering
- Chemical Engineering
- Civil Engineering
- Computer Software Engineering
- Electrical Engineering
- Environmental Engineering
- Materials Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
- Nuclear Engineering
- Inventions and Discoveries
- Women in STEM Video Clips
Once you have settled on your choice you will create a Google Presentation, WeVideo, PowToon animation, VoiceThread, or other digital media based on your branch of engineering.
What to Include:
An explanation of what branch of engineering you have chosen.
At least 5 facts about that chosen branch. Please put this information in your own words, do not copy and paste.
When you do use information from a source, make sure to give that site or source credit for the information. We will begin to learn more specifically how you properly cite information. But for now here is an example:
I learned that civil engineering includes when someone designs and builds bridges. I learned this from the Science Kid website I used as a source.
At least 2 images that relate to your branch of engineering.
You can ALWAYS do more than the guidelines if you have the passion and enthusiasm!
When you are done with your presentation you will share it via Google Classroom; consider whether you would like to share it with classmates on our next Synchronous Day!
As always if you have any questions, please ask!
