Dream Houses Sketch:
The House that Built Me
Take a few moments to imagine your dream house, or the house you are growing up in, or the house that is most meaningful to you as a place of comfort or safety.
Before you pick up your pencil or sketchbook, imagine the roof, windows, door, yard, every exterior detail your dream house or house of memory has and the basic geometric forms that can be used to represent them. Tour the structure in your mind.
Sketch! Be mindful of how much space you have on the sketchbook page. Use precision for the basic outline, then experiment with different pressures and surfaces of the pencil to create textures and shading.
Autograph and date your new creation.
